I buy them in bunches, together with the replacement ear covers (sold separately), for a cost effective solution to the age old cry "Mom. I can't say the sound on these little headphones is superb, but it's pretty good, and the price can't be beat. I need another pair of headphones." The average life expectancy of a pair of headphones in my house (before kids break them) is about six weeks. The average life expectancy of the foam earphone cover (before dogs eat them) is about three weeks.
But you want to connect to a PC sitting on the floor, find something with a longer cord. If you can live with a 4 foot long cord, these are inexpensive and reasonable.
No small feat for one that is almost 14 and predominately non verbal. The headphones have been used on multiple long trips to watch DVDs, with portable music players & with a computer. One of which is apparantly an increased ability to hear with more clarity as he has increased his verbalizations & learned to "sing" since using them. Despite some handling, these earphones have NOT failed to perform until today- about 1 year & 5 months later.I'm back to purchase another set or two & can recommend these with confidence based on performance & durability & price. Purchased these Koss UR5 stereo headphones with foam ear cushions for my special needs child January of 2008. I was not sure if he would tolerate wearing headphones so based my purchase criteria on comfort and cost.Along with intellectual disabilities, my child also suffers with chronic & sudden moderate to severe hearing loss due to canal blockage and also has problems with sensory integration. When he "discovered" music/videos/games on the internet,I wanted him to have the freedom to enjoy this new interest with nearby supervision and without disturbing others. These headphones have provided us with sanity & more importantly provided my child many opportunities on a daily basis.
Unbelievable value. If you're looking for inexpensive, good quality headphones, look no further. They even come with extra earpads.
I have a computer Lab with 15 computers in a school.and its great and very comfortable for kids.if you need just a headset in your lab.then its a great choose and its really worthy with its price
